CHS will receive $1000 toward a scholarship to recognize an outstanding student athlete who represents the essence of good sportsmanship and citizenship.
The A. F. Bridges Award is named after A. F. Bridges, the first executive secretary of TSSAA. His high ideals of ethics, integrity, sportsmanship, and citizenship are the four cornerstones on which the athletic association was established. These ideals have been the focus of TSSAA's “Just Do What’s Right!” program.
