Lopez works daily with some of the nation’s top football, basketball, and baseball players in individualized appointments to help them understand the content being taught in their science classes. She works specifically with high-academic risk student-athletes to help them grow in learning strategies and cognitive strengths to be successful in all college courses. She not only helps these student-athletes learn science and understand skills to perform better in the class, but invests in the lives of these young men to help them grow in character and preparation for life after athletics.
