Emma McVay received a Gold Key for her drawing "Freckles". She also received a Silver Key for photography and mixed media. Emma is pictured with Ms. Chapman at the Mid-South Scholastic Art Awards. Congrats!

CHS student, Grace Bardes recently competed in the TN State Optional Gymnastics Meet-Level 9. Grace had a clean sweep with medals in every competition. We wish Grace the best of luck in her Regional competition April 7-10.

Trevor Ring Named Academic All-Star

Senior Trevor Ring is an accomplished athlete, gifted scholar and a true leader among his family and friends. He holds a 4.38 weighted grade point average and scored 31 on the ACT. He has received his letter of appointment to the United States Naval Academy and plans to follow a family tradition of serving his country in the Armed Forces.

Catching Up With CHS Alumni: Lauren Bell Cox ('07)

Lauren (Bell) Cox, Class of 2007,was a credited featured extra on the Netflix popular political series House of Cards. She came in on the 4th episode and filmed through the end of the 4th season around the Baltimore, Maryland area. She was cast as secret service for the character, Claire. Lauren is currently pursuing an acting career on the East and West coasts between football seasons with husband, Morgan Cox, of the Baltimore Ravens.

Collierville student serves as rep to school board

Evan Craft carries a full load of advanced courses at Collierville High School, captains the Knowledge Bowl team and leads the school's international club. In January, the 18-year-old added another responsibility — serving as the first-ever student liaison to Collierville's recently formed school board.

STEM Students Set To Study Abroad

Six CHS students will learn about geology and geothermal energy in New Zealand, acoustical engineering at the Opera House and wildlife conservation at the zoos in Sydney, Australia during spring break. They are also scheduled to visit a remote village in Fiji that recently suffered devastation from a cyclone.
