Collierville Swimming 3-Peats As County Champs

Collierville Swimming is the Combined County Champions for the third straight year. The Girls' team won their 2nd consecutive Division title. Junior Josh Walsh (200 freestyle) and Senior Sean Kirwan (100 IM) won first place in their events. Walsh set a new Shelby County record.

School Board Gets New High School Virtual Tour

Architects took members of the Collierville school board on a virtual tour of the town's planned new high school Tuesday night, as computer screens "flew" them into a massive brick building marked by wide hallways, a big central courtyard and light pouring through windows.

The Collierville High School Visual Art Department is excited to announce their Scholastic Art winners. CHS had 47 pieces of artwork win awards - the 2nd highest winning school: 8 Gold Keys, 11 Silver Keys and 28 Honorable Mentions.

Mr. Wilson Grateful For Bone Marrow Donor Match

In early November, Collierville High School band director, Michael Wilson, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Sometime around March 1, a donor is expected to give up cells that will be rushed to Memphis, where they may save Mr. Wilson's life. The bone marrow registration drive originally scheduled for Jan. 23 will be rescheduled soon. Our thoughts and prayers continue for the Wilson family.
