Homecoming Dress Up Day and Senior Picture for Tuesday

“HOME Squad” Class Color Day – Students will wear an abundance of grade specific colors to show pride for their class. Girls are also encouraged to wear their PowderPuff shirts. Seniors will also be taking their Class of 2018 picture this day while they are all in maroon!
Freshmen: White
Sophomores: Gray/Silver
Juniors: Navy

Homecoming Dress Up and Dinner for Monday

“Make Yourself at HOME” Pajama Day – Students wear their favorite jammies! It is the same theme for all grades. Faculty members are welcome to participate by wearing pajama bottoms and a dragon t-shirt. Slippers, robes, and other comfy items are encouraged amongst students and faculty alike!

Monday Night Family Dinner – Come out to Marco’s Pizza in Collierville from 4-8pm! 10% of all purchases will go to Go Jim Go supporting LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.

Homecoming Dance Information

The Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, September 23rd from 7:00 - 11:00PM at Minglewood. Music will be provided by Airside and Desoto County DJs. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased on the study hall hallway until Thursday the 14th.

Homecoming Week Activities September 19th-23rd

Homecoming festivities kick off with the annual Powerpuff game Tuesday, September 19th. The CHS Homecoming Football Game is Friday, September 22nd at 7:00 PM. The Homecoming dance will be that Saturday from 7:00 - 11:00 PM at Minglewood. Music will be provided by Airside and Desoto County DJs.

Draco Playhouse Production of Pinocchio Opens Thursday Night

Pinocchio is a CHS student production directed by Shayna Ryan and assistant directed by Emma Stopher. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. The show runs Thursday, September 14th through Saturday, September 16th. Each nights production is at 7:00 pm. Bring your family and enjoy the show.

CHS is thrilled to announce our 2018 National Merit Semifinalists. Each of the semifinalists has an opportunity to continue in the National Merit Scholarship competition. The Semifinalists are: Nicholas Hayes, Yumin Lee, Richard Li, Michael Linder, Kaitlyn Linney, Sebastian Mobo, Akaash Padmanabha, Jefferson Wang, Maia Woodard, and Jeffrey Yu.
