We have about 30 students that have not completed the CHS parking procedures correctly. There are two steps to the registration process. Complete the Student Parking Pass Registration Form and then follow the steps in the attachment to pay for your parking pass via Online School Payment. Copy and paste the following link to pay online https://bit.ly/3givJbB. Both steps must be completed for students to obtain a parking pass. Parking passes will be delivered to students in their 1st period classes on 8/24/20 and 8/26/20.

10th - 12th grade students are allowed to purchase parking passes for the 2020-2021 school year. Click on the link above to register for parking passes for the 2020-2021 school year. There are two steps to the registration process:

Students will be required to have a parking pass to park on campus beginning 8/27/20. Those parking on campus without permission on or after that date could receive a consequence.

Parents, please check your email to complete Infosnap for your children. We still have 165 students who have not completed Infosnap. Your child will not be allowed to register unless Infosnap is completed. Thank you to the 2,690 parents who have already completed Infosnap. If you need additional information on completing Infosnap registration for your child, please call (901) 286-6398 or 853-3310 ex 80022. Also, if your student is not returning to CHS next year, please email Cindy Esala [email protected] with the school they will be attending.

Congratulations to the CHS Latin students on an outstanding performance on the National Latin Exam!!
Typically about 135,000 students from all fifty states and more than 20 foreign countries sit the exam annually. This year, CHS achieved the following:
Of the 36 Latin 1 students that sat the exam, there were 17 gold (2 perfect scores!), 12 silver, 3 magna cum laude and 2 cum laude awards.
Of the 29 Latin 2 students that sat the exam, we had 3 gold, 12 silver, 5 magna cum laude, and 4 cum laude award winners.
Of the 10 Latin 3 students that sat the exam, we had 2 golds, 4 silvers, and 3 magna cum laude awards.
Nationally, 38% typically win an award (cum laude or above), and about 11% are awarded a gold medal. About half a percent of test takers internationally receive a perfect score.
