Ann Armour Richmond Memorial Scholarship

$2,500 will be awarded

 

The Ann Armour Richmond Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the commitment and dedication of a student at Collierville High School whose passion is to be a life-long learner. Mrs. Richmond was an alumnus of CHS and devoted her life and three decades of her career in education as a teacher, an administrator, and eventually as the Math Coordinator for Shelby County Schools. The recipient of this scholarship will be chosen based on academic success, involvement in either school, community, or religious activities and a desire to continue learning in either junior college, trade school or university.

Requirements:

  1. Attended CHS at least 2 years.

  2. GPA 3.0 or higher.

  3. A letter of recommendation from a CHS teacher.

  4. A letter of recommendation from a leader from a school, community, or religious organization.

  5. A college acceptance letter.

  6. A one-page typed essay explaining why lifelong learning is important, as well as your plans and goals after graduating from Collierville High School.

 

All Alumni scholarship applications should be submitted to Mrs. J. Sisson in the School Counseling Office
