what we're going to do is I'm going to show you how to work with India ink no this is called hand at Higgins India ink and it's basically a permanent type ink is designed to sustain and to cover and it will do all of those you do not need to have your paint brush with because it dilutes the ink you don't need any water except for cleaning it up once you're through okay so no water to dilute the ink there's no need to add jatate the bottle of shake it because what happens if you get bubbles on the end it's got a squeaky top on the top it's got like a plunger inside and I drop her if you sit here and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze I have one one year student did this and it found a weak spot in the plastic and one time he didn't explode all over his hand cuz he didn't it was just like a gushing well so big people with this when you open the ink sometimes you'll get crusties around it don't get it on your paper just make sure the crusties are gone or blown off your desk before you work never open this over your artwork you also are going to need a paper towel and your paintbrush you going to open very carefully and you just going to kind of run the top around to pop any bubbles that might be on the in side of the container you going to take this off and you're going to lay it down and see how that's round what do round things normally do rolls if your dad Chilton is going to roll and when that rolls it's going to drop and it splatters and you have 5000 microdots of black everywhere so be careful with the rolling cop and you want to make sure that is secured on your desk the next thing as you want to make sure that you're not anywhere near your artwork your over here you got a metal part on your brush and inevitably when you dip this down into it you're going to touch the sides just be careful dip straight in and pull out try not to go all the way to the bottom because if you put too much on it it'll get on the silver part it'll get onto your hands and get onto your clothes it'll get everywhere so what you want to do is you want to paint your area nice and fluidly don't keep painting it and painting and painting and painting and painting and painting eventually it will run out of ink and it's not black see how it goes from black to Grey and that's what we don't want and you'll eventually be dry brushing so you're going to go back into the Container to get your ink now be careful when you wipe I think off the brush because if you catch it with the metal you'll pull too hard and you'll spill it so just be careful you want to paint with the brush and let it flow and let it cover and the brush is what will get be using when we get into our clue salons here in the next week or so and you can kind of pad at work with it okay so just be careful with what you're doing and you'll be fine and you won't have any problems made a mess so when they as you can see everywhere k yum yum you see what it is what you want to do if you want to call on Monday and I'll call him and your size spill when you get this fill the thing you want to do is win time is it John Young I'm fine most people will try to get up with paper town I'm going to show you something that's fine it didn't get on y'all you're cool what happens if you want to protect your artwork but as you can see this kits everywhere OK Google super and if you just take it and go like this time is going to work why quite didn't wipe wipe sit it's a lot of cleaning yes this is a big mess so what does this tell you that you don't need to do you don't need to spill make sure don't spill it everywhere okay well you see video tape it right I won't need to do this but once if it dries up what would happen because it won't scrubbing and I'm just putting this on paper and I'm just using these sponges to clean once you get this part cleaned and you got to worry about all the other surfaces that touch so you got the idea don't spill your drink okay wash it off in the sink and make sure it's okay with her the sponge is as you can see have been used a lot over the years not just by me and this is where it really gets messy and I'll get all this cleaned up on the floor I wish I knew how to zoom in Skype number to get all this so y'all got the idea this stuff listen to me I can't control you can't control the spell so the best thing is don't let him have this danger hands this will be on me for about 45 days that will eventually come off but it does stay in your hand but I put the one was on it today do you have any once you get it all cleaned up then you can go in and dried off and do the last little bit okay don't spill your ink okay Stanley sponges impressed
