Gibson was the only freshman cast in the production of “Some Like it Hot” and from that point on he has been a permanent fixture in the school’s Draco Theatre productions, choir program and Speech and Debate Team. Whether a comedy, drama or musical, Jonathan brings an energy onstage that immediately engages the audience.
A member of the school’s Emerging Leaders and Honor Academy, Jonathan shines as an honor student. He has been selected for the school’s 2016 Hall of Fame and is currently serving as vice president of the National English Honor Society. He is a member of the Cum Laude Society, National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and Quill & Scroll.
Jonathan is active in the Thespian Society. He has played everything from Old Green Grasshopper in “James and the Giant Peach” to Javert in the challenging “Les Miserables.” Last fall, he was cast as the lead, Rick Steadman, in the school’s successful production of “The Nerd.”
