Wanted: Director of Fundraising
This part time position will be to execute fundraising activities for the Collierville High School Alumni Association. This is a paid position and the individual will work out of a home office.
This position will include the following responsibilities:
- Developing fundraising strategies to solicit donations
- Identify and build relationships with Collierville Alumni
- Contact local corporate representatives to increase awareness of our organizational needs
- Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions
- Plan and manage local events
- Prepare and send thank you letters to donors
- Manage Social Media sites
- Present fundraising progress to the CHS Alumni Board of Directors
- The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Creativity and resourcefulness
- Self-confident and outgoing personality
- Exceptional communications skills, both oral and written are essential
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Prior Fundraising experience preferred
- Ability to use Social Media to promote our organization
- Collierville Alumni or close ties to the Collierville school system
