Our Art students had 46 pieces of artwork win awards in Drawing & Illustration, Painting, Printmaking, Mix Media, Digital Art, Comic Art and Photography categories.

Special Awards: Printmaking Award
Gold Key Award-winning art will be exhibited January 26th and goes until February 24th at the Memphis Brooks Museum. All gold keys are then automatically forwarded to the national office in New York City for adjudication at the national level.
Silver and Honorable Mention winners from Collierville High & Collierville Middle School will be on exhibition January 22nd- February 22nd at the Collierville Town Hall.
For those not familiar, The Mid-South Regional Scholastic Art Awards is an annual juried student art exhibition presented by the Brooks Museum League and Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. These awards are an affiliate of the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers and honors exemplary art by students in 7th through 12th grades. The Brooks Museum hosts the regional competition and exhibition for Memphis and the Mid-South area. More than 2,600 entries in a wide variety of categories, including painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, sculpture, graphic design, film, fashion, as well as senior art portfolios are judged by a panel of judges over a course of several days. Judging for the competition takes place digitally, through a blind adjudication process involving a panel of regional artists, art educators, and other arts professionals. Judging Criteria was based on Originality Work that breaks from convention, blurs the boundaries between genres, and challenges notions of how a particular concept or emotion can be expressed and Technical Skill.
