Collierville is investing tens of millions of dollars in a new high school, and members of the public can take a look at the latest proposed building designs at two open meetings later this month.

Pitner Driving School has released information regarding driving school that will begin January 11th at Collierville High School. For details and an application please click on the link.

The latest plans for Collierville’s new high school reveal new details about its design. Site plans show a 450,000-square-foot building with an adjoining athletic complex comprised of a track, eight fields and a fieldhouse.

Mr. Keith Salter, CHS Director of Theater, was voted top teacher by his colleagues. We are very appreciative for all that Mr. Salter does for Collierville High School! Click on the link to read his bio and visit his class webpage.

Congratulations to the Collierville Knowledge Bowl Team. The Dragons were at Ole Miss Saturday in the Brain Brawl challenge and competed in a competitive 42-team field. Collierville took home first place, beating out teams from Mississippi and Tennessee.

Hannah Furniss from Collierville High School recently received the Certificate of Recognition from the Commonwealth Honors Academy held in June 2015 at Murray State University. Hannah and 116 other students completed the three-week Academy at Murray State between June 6th and June 27th, 2015.

Congratulations to the Collierville Knowledge Bowl Team. The Dragons won their 1st Round match against Germantown Monday night in the WREG Knowledge Bowl tournament. The team consists of Evan Craft, Joey He, Luigi Siligato, Priyal Pathak, and Katie Tucker. The match will air on Channel 3 on Saturday, January 9 at 9:00 AM.

Congratulations to the Collierville High School athletic department. CHS won the A.F. Bridges award for the 2014-2015 sports year. This is the highest award that can be bestowed upon a school's athletic program to honor its overall efforts to promote citizenship and sportsmanship at school, and at athletic contests.
