Collierville Baseball Headed To State Tournament

The Collierville High School Dragons baseball team punched their ticket to the 2018 TSSAA Spring Fling by defeating Bartlett, 2-0, Friday night. UT-Martin signee Tyler Sherman had all the right stuff on the mound and threw the complete game shut-out. He went seven innings, allowing only three hits, striking out three and walking none. Marcus Bersoza, Evan Chatlosh, Gabe Nicholson, and Riley Davis each had a hit for the Dragons. The team will play their first game in the state tournament Tuesday. The bracket is still to be released.

Landon Johnson Highlighted In "Bright Spot" Segment on WREG

Senior Landon Johnson was recently interviewed for the "Bright Spot" segment on WREG for his work tutoring underprivileged students for the ACT. Landon decided, after making a 33 on the ACT, that he could do something to help others raise their scores. To date he has tutored over 100 students throughout Shelby County. CHS Named 11th Best High School In Tennessee

The US News and World Report has once again named Collierville High School as one of the best schools in the state. This year CHS was ranked 11th overall in Tennessee and 2nd in Shelby County. Nationally, CHS was awarded a Silver Medal. This is a reflection of our outstanding students and parental support, as well as the amazing teachers, administration, and support staff at CHS. End of Year School Supplies Collection Drive

For the past several years, 2015 CHS graduate Shelby (Messerly) Anderson has run a school supply collection drive for the supplies that many of you choose to throw away at the end of each school year. She then sorts through these items to pass along to different inner city schools. The bins are located outside the attendance office and near the main lobby area. This is a great way for you to help others when you clean out your lockers. Click on the link to see the types of supplies Shelby is needing.
