Collierville Wrestling Will Send Five To State Championships

Congratulations to the Collierville High School Wrestling Team. At Saturday's Region Tournament, hosted by Arlington High School, Head Coach Brian Loeffler was pleased of the team's showing against top competition. The Dragons were led by senior captain Justin Kimble (120 lb.) who earned the District's championship in his weight division. Also placing in the top four in their division were: Andrew Artiles (2nd) Jared Briant (2nd), Kevin Hale (4th) and Elijah Holcomb (4th). All five will compete at next weekend's TSSAA State Championships in Franklin, TN.

The HOSA Cub is asking that you dress up each day in support of various health care issues. Monday wear Scrubs for Medical Monday. Tuesday wear Red for American Heart Month. Wednesday wear Tie Dye for mental health. Thursday wear Sports Jerseys and T-shirts for physical health. Friday wear Western clothing for kicking bad habits.

Collierville's Walsh wins state 100 freestyle

Josh Walsh ended his high school career with a winning performance Saturday. The Collierville senior, who is headed to University of Tennessee, showed the Knoxville swimming community what it can expect as he won the 100-yard freestyle title at the TISCA championship meet in 44.60. Christian Berry of MUS took second in 45.27.

CHS Students Donate 1,152 Valentines Cards to Le Bonheur

Thanks to the efforts of CHS Freshman Reagan Wilson, CHS was once again able to show the generosity of Dragon Nation. She received a well deserved "Thank you to Reagan Wilson of Collierville High School for all the cards you made for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital!" from FM100. CHS Hip Hop Finishes 2nd at UDA Nationals

When UDA says CHS "just blew the roof off" and was "turning heads" its easy to see why Hip Hop finished runner up in the Large Varsity Hip Hop Division. The Pom team was also a finalist in the Large Varsity Pom Division and are the defending TSSAA State Champions.
