CHS Class of 2004 Graduate, Dwan Hill, Wins a Grammy

Dwan Hill, a 2004 graduate of CHS, was a serious music student, spending two years in Band, as a keyboardist, and then two in Chamber Choir, as a singer. While here, he started a gospel choir which met after school and lasted several years. He graduated from Belmont University with a music degree and is now working in the recording industry in Nashville. He also is the Worship Director at Nashville Life Church. Last night he won his first Grammy as a songwriter of the top gospel song of the year, sung by CeCe Winans.

Former CHS Student Launches Ride Share Program at UTK

Micah Rabinowitz CHS Class of 2008

Micah Rabinowitz
2008 graduate of CHS

Micah has lived and worked in Japan since April 2014. He is currently a Coordinator of International Relations for the Japanese Village of Kitagawa. In this role, Micah teaches and develops English curriculums for the elementary school. He also plans intercultural events for the village and neighboring towns. Micah interprets for the local yuzu fruit industry and does translation for local governments and businesses.

CHS Alumna Doing Great Things

Ellie Perry, CHS class of 2016, is a rising sophomore at Manhattan School of Music. She is currently singing in a program in Montreal Canada. The Canadian Vocal Arts Institute is an intensive program providing private voice lessons, private coaching, and training in vocal technique,stage presentation and acting, language and diction, as well as opportunities to sing in masterclasses .CVAI is codirected by Metropolitan Opera coach Joan Dornemann and MET conductor Paul Nadler.
