Boy's Golf Team Finish 2nd at Dragon Invitational

Congratulations to the boys golf team on a second place finish in the Dragon Invitational tournament. The boys team was lead by juniors Matt Garvin and Ethan Ray who tied for third place with a score of 77. The boys team finished the regular season with a record of 36-12.

Collierville Schools will open the new Dragon Stadium on Friday, September 21st, with this year’s Homecoming football game v. Wooddale High School. This decision will fulfill both the duty and the desire of Collierville Schools to offer a safe, comfortable, and unforgettable experience to every individual who participates in this first outdoor athletic contest at the new high school. The home football games scheduled for September 7th v. Germantown High and September 14th v. Cordova High will both be played at Herman Osteen Field on the campus of Collierville Elementary School. Collierville Schools appreciates the understanding and support of all fans as we complete the Landers Sportsplex at Collierville High School.

Collierville's Hunter Bradley Earns Official Green Bay Packers Roster Spot

Congratulations to former Dragons football standout, Hunter Bradley, on earning an official roster spot for the Green Bay Packers. The 53-man rosters were determined by each NFL team, Saturday, as the team's prepare for the upcoming season. Bradley was the 239th selection overall, and 7th round pick of the Packers, in the 2018 NFL Draft. Bradley will open the season as the team's long snapper and wear #43. He is the son of Mike and Pam Bradley and both parents work at Collierville High School.

Former State Champion Wrestler Joins Dragons Coaching Staff

Collierville High School Head Wrestling Coach, Brian Loeffler, announced the addition of Tyler Green to his coaching staff. Green is a former West Virginia state champion. He was selected for the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for the state of West Virginia in 2010. His high school squad won the state championship in 2009 and 2010, including going 34-0 his senior season. He was selected to the 2010 USA Wrestling National Honorable Mention Team and was ranked in the top-30 in the country all four years by Wrestling USA. Coach Green finished his high school career with a record of 157-26, including 70 pins.

He wrestled four years at Cleveland State University upon graduation.

Freshman Football Defeats Covington 43-14

Freshmen football won 43-14 over Covington on Monday night. Tyler Collier had 2 interceptions with 1 for a TD, Donovan Mathena had 2 rushing TD's, and Houston Wilhelm added 159 yards and 2 passing TD's. The Freshman Dragons improve to 2-0.
