Dragons Boys Hoops Set For Illinois Holiday Tournament Play

The red-hot Collierville Dragons boys' basketball team, winners of five straight, will get a big challenge Thursday vs. Belleville West (IL) in the Centralia Holiday Tournament. Belleville West is currently ranked No. 3 in the state of Illinois and No. 105 nationally. Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm in Illinois' oldest holiday tournament. The invitational tournament features top high school teams from the Southern Illinois, Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis areas. Click on the link for full details of this year's tournament.

Dragon Fire Invitational Tournament Bracket Released

Collierville High School head girls' basketball coach, Anthony Hall, has released the 2017 Dragon Fire Invitational Tournament Bracket.

The tournament will run from Wednesday, December 27 through Saturday, December 30. All games will be played in the Collierville High School varsity gym, home of the Lady Dragons.

The tournament will feature the No. 1 prospect in the 2018 class, Christyn Williams, from Central Arkansas Christian High School. Williams has signed with UConn.

Lady Dragons Forward Lauren Taylor Commits To CBU

Collierville High School senior Lauren Taylor has announced her commitment to continue her education and athletic career at Christian Brothers University. The Lady Dragons forward is off to an impressive start to the 2017-2018 season and leading the team to a 5-3 record. The Lady Dragons will host the Dragon Fire Invitational Tournament December 27-30.

Collierville Swimming Sweeps County Meet 1

Opening season for swimming began on Thursday and the Dragons started off with a bang. Collierville took first place in the boys, girls, and combined results to begin the hot start to the season. The boys team scored a 127, the girls team scored 99 for a combined score of 226 - more than double the 2nd place team, St. George's, at 102.
