Collierville Tennis Sweeps District Rival Germantown

The Collierville High School boys and girls tennis teams defeated Germantown, Tuesday, on the Red Devils' home court. The Lady Dragons won 7-0 and the CHS boys were winners 6-1. The girls remain undefeated on the year at 3-0 and the boys improve to 1-1. Both teams are back in action today, weather permitting, versus Houston High School.

Dragons Soccer Defeats Daphne and Improves To 3-1

The Collierville High School soccer team got back to winning ways Saturday night in a match versus Daphne (AL). The Dragons scored early on a PK by Jesus Melendez. Adam Scharf and Braden Scott added goals to secure the victory. Collierville Soccer will look to stay on track, Tuesday, when the Dragons host Briarcrest Christian. Game time is set for 7pm.

Rees's Walkoff Gives Collierville Baseball Victory Over Montgomery Central

It came down to the wire Saturday afternoon with the Collierville Dragons baseball team taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th that sealed a victory over Montgomery Central. The game was tied at 12 when Carson Rees singled on a 2-1 count, scoring Riley Davis.

Noah Hattier led the Dragons offense by driving in four runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. John Gibbs was the winning pitcher. He went three innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking zero.

The Diamond Dragons improve to 11-1 on the season and will host Bartlett Monday night. First pitch is set for 6:30pm.

Sherman, Diamond Dragons shutout Sparkman and Win #10

UT-Martin signee, Tyler Sherman, threw a gem on Friday night for the Collierville baseball team. The crafty right-hander allowed zero runs as the Dragons defeated Sparkman (AL) 10-0.

Evan Chatlosh led the Dragons to victory by driving in four runs. He went 3-for-3 at the plate. Chatlosh drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the third, and a single in the fourth.

The Dragons offense tallied 12 hits. Chatlosh, Marcus Bersoza, and Mitch Austin each racked up multiple hits for Collierville. The Diamond Dragons improve their record to 10-1.

Dragons Lacrosse Teams Play Lights Out Friday Night

The Collierville High School boys and girls lacrosse teams were victorious on Friday night at Johnson Park. The Lady Dragons shutout White Station 16-0 and the boys team defeated St. George's 17-6. Both teams are ranked in the state's latest Top 25 poll. The girls are ranked 6th and the boys are ranked 21st published by MaxPreps.

Collierville Baseball Blows Out Wynne Thanks To Big Third Inning

The Collierville High School baseball team knocked in six runs in the third inning on its way to a 9-1 victory over Wynne on Thursday. The Dragons big bats in the inning were led by walks by Mitch Austin and Riley Davis, a single by Noah Hattier, and a double by Cannon Whitby.

Jacob Burks earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for CHS. He surrendered one run on one hit over six innings, striking out seven. Jared Shelton threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Collierville Softball Wins 4th Straight To Stay Unbeaten

The Collierville High School Lady Dragons softball team extended their winning streak to four games, Thursday, at Southwind High School. Starting pitcher Colleen Blaszkowski had nine strikeouts and improved to 4-0. Maria Maxwell blasted an inside the park home run to break the game open in the 1st inning. The Lady Dragons defeated the Lady Jaguars 19-1. They'll travel to Cookeville, Tennessee this weekend for tournament play in hopes to continue their hot start.

Collierville Spring Sports Stay Undefeated in Week 1

The Collierville High School baseball and soccer teams kicked-off the 2018 season with an impressive start. The Dragons baseball team opened play in the Lewis Harris Memorial Tournament by going 6-0. They defeated Briarcrest Christian, Lausanne, Covington, Dyer County, Lebanon, and Hernando (MS). The Dragons soccer team went 2-0 in a Nashville area tournament. They defeated Brentwood and Summit both by the scores of 2-1. All spring sports will be in action next week.

Collierville Baseball Opens Season With 1-0 Victory Over Briarcrest

The Collierville High School baseball team had to battle through extra innings in order to get it's first win of the 2018 campaign. The Dragons were able to sneak by the Saints, 1-0, after plating a run in the Top of the 11th. Carson Rees sliced a double down the right field line for the game-winning RBI. Collierville starter, Tyler Sherman, was outstanding in his senior debut. The Tennessee-Martin signee threw 7 innings innings; allowing 5 hits and striking out 7. John Gibbs took the victory in relief. First Baseman Evan Chatlosh had two hits to lead the Dragons offensively.
