Dragons Cross Country Make Strides at Chile Pepper

FAYETTEVILLE, Ar - The CHS boys and girls cross country teams participated in the Chile Pepper Festival over the weekend. The Dragons boys finished 21st overall and the girls finished 50th. Dragons down Bartlett In Girls' Soccer

BARTLETT - The Collierville Lady Dragons soccer team walked away with 2-1 victory at Bartlett Thursday night. A pair of goals by Maggie Van de Vuurst and assists by Kammy McGee, sealed the Dragons victory. Two nationally ranked soccer programs by Top Drawer Soccer, Collierville and Houston (Germantown, TN), will square off Wednesday October 5th at CHS. Game time is set for 7pm.

Collierville's Jenner Ranked Second In State

HERMITAGE, Tn - Collierville Dragon bowling standout, Ross Jenner, is ranked second in the state for the Class of 2018 and it's bowling members. As a sophomore last year, Jenner led the state with a 229 average. Last October, he bowled a perfect score during match play.

CHS Swimmer, Josh Walsh, Commits to Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tn - Josh Walsh has given his verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee. Walsh, who swims for Memphis Thunder Aquatic Club, is primarily a freestyler. The Collierville High School senior is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Collierville Outfielder Commits to Delta State

CLEVELAND, MS - Senior outfielder Blake Donels, a transfer from Valor Christian (CO), has announced his intentions to continue his education and baseball career at Delta State University. Collierville Head Baseball Coach, Jeff Munier, spent a year on the DSU staff as a graduate assistant prior to coaching in the high school ranks. Donels and the Collierville Dragons will open play this spring, March 13, in the Lewis Harris Memorial Tournament.

McGee Scores, Dragons Fall To Tigers, 2-1

ARLINGTON, TN - Junior Forward Kammy McGee added another goal, assisted by Maggie Van de Vuurst, but the Collierville Lady Dragons lost a tough battle to Arlington 2-1. The loss is the first of the year for CHS (10-1-3). The Dragons will have to bounce back quickly with another tough challenge, Thursday 7pm, at Bartlett.

ARLINGTON, TN - Collierville traveled across the county to play Arlington in what was most definitely- the game to watch Friday night. The Tigers prevailed the battle with a 35-28 victory.
