Lady Dragons Basketball Hammers Southwind 62-40

The Collierville High School Lady Dragons basketball team continued their winning ways Friday after defeating the Southwind Jaguars 62-40 at home. It is the fourth consecutive victory for Collierville. The team improves to 11-5 overall and 3-0 in district play. They will next travel to Kirby on Tuesday January 23rd to take on the Cougars. Tip-off is 6pm.

Collierville Alum Hunter Bradley To Play in East-West Shrine Game Saturday

Seeking to enhance their NFL prospects, Mississippi State seniors Hunter Bradley (Collierville Grad) and Jordan Thomas will play in the 93rd East-West Shrine Game at 2 p.m. CT Saturday live on NFL Network.

Bradley, considered one of the top long snappers in the country, will represent the East roster. Thomas, a 6-foot-5 wideout/tight end, will suit up for the West roster. The two will be the 27th and 28th Bulldogs to play in the game all-time. Former linebacker Richie Brown, now with the Carolina Panthers, was invited last year.

Bradley and Thomas will play on a familiar surface. The two helped State claim a St. Petersburg Bowl victory last year at Tropicana Field.

Collierville Advances to TSSAA Bowling State Championships

The Collierville High School bowling team will return to the TSSAA State Bowling Championships this weekend after defeating Dyer County 20-7 in the sectional match. It's their first trip back to Murfreesboro since the 2013 season. Collierville was led by senior standout Ross Jenner with scores of 246, 233, and 210. Sophomore Scott Baker posted a 233 and Kylee Andrews contributed a 194. The state tournament will be held at the Smyrna Bowling Center. Team quarter-finals will begin at 3pm Friday.

Collierville High School student-athletes will have the opportunity to order letter jackets during all lunches on January 23, 2018. Collierville Bowling Advances To Region 8 Tournament Finals

Congratulations to the Collierville High School bowling team on their defeat over Ridgeway, Tuesday, 21-6. Ross Jenner bowled a 269, 218, and 213 to once again lead the Dragons. Jaden Kubick bowled a 241 and 203. Scott Baker had a 235. Collierville advances to the Region 8 title match, Wednesday, against Bartlett.

The Collierville High School girls basketball team got off to a hot start against Ridgeway Friday night and never cooled dow. The Lady Dragons defeated the Roadrunners 65-49 to improve their recored to 9-5 and 1-0 in District 15-AAA. They'll go for win number 10 on Tuesday versus Kirby. Tip-off is 6pm.
