Former State Champion Wrestler Joins Dragons Coaching Staff

Collierville High School Head Wrestling Coach, Brian Loeffler, announced the addition of Tyler Green to his coaching staff. Green is a former West Virginia state champion. He was selected for the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for the state of West Virginia in 2010. His high school squad won the state championship in 2009 and 2010, including going 34-0 his senior season. He was selected to the 2010 USA Wrestling National Honorable Mention Team and was ranked in the top-30 in the country all four years by Wrestling USA. Coach Green finished his high school career with a record of 157-26, including 70 pins.

He wrestled four years at Cleveland State University upon graduation.

Lady Dragons Basketball Adds Toby Taylor To Coaching Staff

Collierville High School Head Women's Basketball Coach, Anthony Hall, has announced the addition of Toby Taylor to his coaching staff. Coach Taylor spent the last five years as the Head Boys' Basketball Coach at Schilling Farms Middle School. He will begin duties immediately with the Lady Dragons.

Dragons Baseball Adds Victor Cole Jr. To Coaching Staff

Collierville High School Head Baseball Coach, Jeff Munier, has announced the addition of Victor Cole Jr. to the team's coaching staff. Cole Jr. just finished up a stellar career at Liberty University. The left-hander is third all-time in career ERA (2.84). He pitched a complete game, striking out a career-high 11 in a 4-2 win over Kent State on March 19. Prior to Liberty, Cole Jr. had a successful stint at Tallahassee Community College. He attended high school at Memphis University School.

Former Union University Player and Coach Joins Dragon Soccer Staff

Collierville High School head soccer coach, Gareth Munro, has announced the addition of Duncan Nicol as an Assistant Coach for Dragons Soccer. Nicol is a former graduate and player for Union University. He started on the men's soccer team for four years. During his time on the team he was named NCCAA All-Region and is tied, 3rd for most goals scored in a game.

Coach Nicol helped lead his team to their first ever NCCAA National Championship in 2003 and in 2004 helped lead his team to their first ever NAIA Region Tournament. In 2005, Nicol and the team had their best finish yet with a runner up in the NAIA Region Tournament which led to their highest ever, 2006 pre season ranking of number 9.

Collierville Football Adds Former Memphis All-Conference Tight End To Staff

Collierville High School Head Football Coach Mike O'Neill has announced the addition of former University of Memphis All-American Conference Tight End, Daniel Montiel, to staff. Montiel played in 45 games for the Tigers and made 20 starts. He hauled in 45 career catches for 617 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a member of a high-prolific offensive unit in 2015 and 2016 under the direction of two of college football's best coaches - Justin Fuente and Mike Norvell. The Arlington, Texas native will coach wide receivers at Collierville High School and work closely with offensive coordinator Tommy Miller.
