Cum Laude Society

The Cum Laude Society recognizes excellence in academia by honoring the top 15% of the graduating class. The top 10% of the class is inducted the Spring of their Junior year, and the remaining 5% the Spring of their senior year. Students must take a total of 3 AP/Honors/Dual courses per year. Induction is invitation-based, so there is no need to apply. Invitations will be sent out in the spring semester to all students who qualify. Cum Laude Society members are given a GOLD Tassel to wear on their graduation cap during the graduation ceremony, depicting the highest scholarly recognition a high school student can achieve, and will also be among the first to cross the stage during the graduation ceremony. Inductees are required to pay a one-time $35 fee, which covers the gold tassel, certificates, and induction ceremony.
