Cum Laude Society
Cum Laude inductions take place in April of each year where the top 10% of eligible juniors and 5% more of the senior class are recognized. The Cum Laude Society is devoted to the pursuit of academic excellence. Students selected for membership in the society represent the highest level of academic achievement at CHS. Candidates possess an academic record that demonstrates:
- Superior intellectual capability (ranking in the top 10% of the class after six semesters with a weighted GPA and the next top 5% after seven semesters).
- A willingness to pursue a difficult curriculum that includes honor and AP coursework (must be in at least three honor classes or two AP classes each year of high school including the senior year)
- Good character, honor, and integrity in all aspects of their school life.
