Rates for the high school based dual enrollment program if students are eligible for the dual enrollment (DE) grant are as follows. Each semester of a DE course uses one grant. Ex: If you are enrolled in one DE class (and it is your 1st DE class), Semester 1 will use Grant #1 and Semester 2 will use Grant #2. If you are enrolled in two DE classes, Semester 1 will use Grant #1 and Grant #2 and Semester 2 will use Grant #3 and Grant #4.

Students may use the dual enrollment grant for 4 semesters without a deduction from their HOPE Scholarship money. If a student chooses to take more than 4 semesters of dual enrollment classes (TCAT or U of M), the grant money will be awarded; however, the additional grant amount will be initially deducted from their HOPE Scholarship when they enter college
