Grading Guidelines

In accordance with Collierville Schools Board of Education policy, grades will be reported on report cards and transcript records using numerical values as indicated in the scale below.

A	90-100
B	80-89
C	70-79
D	60-69
F	59 or below

 

In accordance with the State Board of Education Uniform Grading Policy, the HOPE Scholarship GPA will be reported on student transcripts. The HOPE Scholarship GPA will be calculated using numerical values as indicated in the scale below. The HOPE Scholarship GPA will not include additional GPA weighting.

Additional Points for Advanced Coursework

Additional points shall be awarded to the grades used to calculate the semester average for students enrolled in advanced courses as indicated below.

*If a student does not sit for the final test, the additional points will be removed from the

student’s grade(s) and the semester average will be recalculated to reflect that change.

 

GPA Calculation

GPA weighting will be applied as indicated below.
