KEITH SALTER IS IN HIS 18TH YEAR AS DIRECTOR OF THEATRE AT COLLIERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, HAVING PREVIOUSLY TAUGHT FOR 15 YEARS IN ARKANSAS. ACTIVE IN AREA COMMUNITY THEATRES, MR. SALTER HAS PERFORMED THE ROLES OF THE COWARDLY LION IN “THE WIZARD OF OZ” AND CHARLIE ANDERSON IN THE CIVIL WAR MUSICAL, “SHENANDOAH.” MR. SALTER IS PROUD TO HAVE STUDENTS PERFORMING ON BROADWAY AND TELEVISION AND HAS HIMSELF APPEARED IN AN OSCAR-NOMINATED FILM, “21 GRAMS” STARRING SEAN PENN, BENECIO DEL TORO AND NAOMI WATTS. MR. SALTER ENJOYS TRAVEL, IMITATING VELOCIRAPTORS AND BATTLING SLACKING WHEREVER IT OCCURS.  IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, MR. SALTER WAS FLATTERED TO BE NAMED CHS'S TEACHER OF THE YEAR FOR 2006-2007 AND 2015-2016.
