Welcome!

I am excited to be teaching at Collierville High.

Although this is my first official teaching year, I am not new to the CHS Family.  I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and completed my master’s degree in secondary education at the University of Memphis last December. As part of the Master of Arts in Teaching program, I spent four months last fall fulfilling my clinical teaching semester with Megan Jackson and her AP Language and Composition classes at CHS. During this time, I also observed Mrs. Meriwether’s first period Honors English 10 class and became familiar with her class structure and expectations.  Additionally, I filled in as Mrs. Meriwether’s interim sub for the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year.

Throughout the upcoming school year, our classes will abide by the class policies as outlined on the syllabus. The class syllabus is located on the respective class page.
