Former CHS Student Launches Ride Share Program at UTK

The following CHS singers will be participating in the All-Southwest TN regional honor choirs this Friday, 11/17, from 8am-3pm at Greater Imani Church in Memphis.

CHS to Begin Offering the Seal of Biliteracy and Bilingual Seal to Graduates

You could be eligible for a new seal on your diploma. Collierville High School is now offering the Seal of Biliteracy and the Bilingual Seal to any student who can speak, read and write another language outside of English.
What do you need to do?
You can go to the school’s website and see the requirements that you will need to meet to be eligible; or you can see your English teacher, Mrs. Reed in 134, or Mrs. Misenheimer in room 124, who will have packets available.
What is the deadline?
The deadline to turn in your letter of intent is Tuesday, November 21st.
When is the test?
We will be offering the required tests in January. There will be more information before the Christmas holidays.
Even if you don’t graduate this year, you need to turn in your as soon as you think you might want to do it.

CHS Performs Well At Latin Fall Festivals Competition

Congratulations to the following CHS students for placing at the Latin Fall Festival:

Draco Playhouse production of As It Is In Heaven Receives Superior Rating

This past weekend the Draco Playhouse production of As It Is In Heaven performed in the TN Theatre Association One-Act Play Festival.
The production received Superior ratings from the Festival’s judges.
Kala Morris and Jamey Ryan were named to the Festival’s All-Star Cast for their individual performances.
Cast members were juniors Kala Morris, Mary Powers, and Carly Steed, sophomores Jamey Ryan, Samantha Schott, Maddie Bobbitt, and Teyah Young, and freshmen Emily Siegel and Alexis Steelman. Stage Manager was senior Emily Roark.
