The 5 minute Video tutorial on checking out ebooks and audiobooks using Overdrive and Follet Destiny:
Procedures in the time of Covid-19:
Per district mandates, all students will be required to wear a mask at all times (covering both mouth and nose) with the exception of those that are eating lunch during their assigned lunch periods. The library has been re-organized to allow for social distancing of at least 6 feet (often more) and study rooms will now only allow 1 person per room.
During 1st through 8th period students will require a note from their study hall teacher or their classroom teacher to use the library.
Lunch privileges in the library for the first two weeks of school will be limited to those selected by our prevention counselor, please reach out to Ms Perkins if you would like to eat lunch in the library. Our hope is to reopen up lunch privileges in the library on a smaller scale to our students after we identify students with the highest needs, but this will ultimately depend on how many we can safely accommodate while social distancing.
Physical books will be quarantined for at least 24 hours following check out.
Procedures during non-Covid-19 times:
Black and White Printing: 10 cents per page.
Due to high demand, students wishing to spend all or part of their lunch period in the library must come before third period to sign up for their specific period in the library. Spaces will be limited.
Students are required to sign in to the library on arrival, signed teacher passes are required during class instruction time.
Ebooks and Audiobooks are available through Classlink
Print books can be checked out for two weeks and renewed for an additional two weeks.
5 books can be checked out at the same time.
