Mission: The International Day of Listening fosters better listening in all phases of life, in all contexts, and all around the world.
Vision: The International Day of Listening will become recognized throughout the world as the premier event for the promotion of listening.
Date: Third Thursday in September (9/15/16)
Goal: Increase awareness of the value of listening and provide resources to develop better listening skills and strategies.

Mr. Jones, Dr. Bentley and the C&A Team will support teachers are they lead students through a listening activity during the International Day of Listening. There are many listed on the event website that can be completed in approximately 15-30 minutes, or modified to do so.
