Parent & Family Engagement Policy

The policy addresses Collierville High School’s plan to have a shared vision for student achievement. The plan details opportunities that CHS will provide to increase family engagement that will aid student learning.

Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Collierville High School is identified as a Title 1 school.

 

Collierville High School will involve parents, in an organized, ongoing, and timely way, in the planning, review, and improvement of the Title I program, including the planning, review, and improvement of the school’s parent and family engagement program.

 

If requested by parents, Collierville High School will provide opportunities for regular meetings to formulate suggestions and to participate, as appropriate, in decisions relating to the education of their children, and respond to any such suggestions as soon as practicably possible.

 

The overall goal of the Collierville High School Parent & Family Engagement plan is to create a family-centered approach to create collaborative relationships among faculty, families, and the community, while recognizing, respecting, and addressing the needs of families within our school.
