Music Monday – Students represent different music genres, artists, and/or bands. It is the same theme for all grades and faculty members. Time to pull out those vintage band shirts!
Tuesday, September 13th
Class Color Day – Students will wear an abundance of grade specific colors to show pride for their class. Girls are also encouraged to wear their PowderPuff shirts. Faculty members are encouraged to wear spirit wear or to represent the grade in which you teach the most students.
Freshmen: White
Sophomores: Gray/Silver
Juniors: Navy
Seniors: Maroon
Homecoming Queen Vote
The entire school will vote for Homecoming Queen during 5th period on Tuesday.
PowderPuff Football Tournament
7:30pm at the Football Field
We have over 300 girls signed up to play! The freshmen will play the juniors. The sophomores will play the seniors. Then, the losing teams will play and the winning teams will play. Mr. Blanchard, Dr. Holcomb, and Mr. Heinrich will be our esteemed referees. The admission is $3 for guests as this is SGA’s fundraiser for our Angel Tree Program in December (12/2).
Wednesday, September 14th
America Day – Students will dress up in their best patriotic gear for the good ole U.S. of A. It is the same theme for all grades and faculty members. (Please note that confederate flags are NOT allowed per dress code policy.)
Hallway Decorating Contest
Each grade will decorate a given hallway to coincide with their traditional attire for Thursday. Be prepared for some awesome décor on the main hallways (not by classrooms) on Thursday morning!
Thursday, September 15th
Traditional Day – Students will dress up in the traditional grade attire. Faculty members are encouraged to represent the grade in which you teach the most students (or whichever one you think is the most fun!). Just keep in mind that we will have parent conferences that afternoon so you might need to bring a change of clothes.

Juniors: Camo
Seniors: Hippies
Pep Rallies/Adjusted Lunches
We will have an adjusted schedule to accommodate for two pep rallies in the middle of the day. All classes will be 40-50 minutes long.
Friday, September 16th
Homecoming Football Game
The Dragons will host the Cordova Wolves at 7pm. The 2016 Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime.
Saturday, September 17th
