CHS Teacher, Moe Bagwell, Recognized by Ducks Unlimited

Below is the blurb from the event program written by her son.

"Maureen “Moe” Bagwell has a passion for nature and conservation.  Throughout her life she immersed herself in nature.  She pursued this passion in college and obtained a Masters Degree from Clemson University in Wildlife Biology.  She began attending Ducks Unlimited events in the early 1980s in Indiana.  Upon moving to Memphis, she was involved with the Millington Chapter and volunteered at many other events. Throughout the years she has been a member of Ducks unlimited and an advocate for conservation. She obtained a Masters in Education after her children were grown and has been a teacher at Collierville High since.  Moe’s dedication to Ducks Unlimited was shown in 2003 when she and some passionate students began the Collierville High School chapter.  Collierville High School Ducks Unlimited chapter was the first high school chapter in the nation.  Today the chapter is running strong and this year is the 15 year anniversary.  Moe is a committee member of the Collierville chapter and volunteer for many Greenwing programs."
