Summer School Information

Click on the link to find out registration information and rules for summer school. This year summer school will be at Collierville Middle School. Early registration will be at CHS on Friday the 14th from 7:00AM-2:00PM in the counseling office. Regular CHS student registration will be Thursday, May 31st from 8:00-11:00AM in the Collierville Middle School Library. Non-CHS Student Registration (Availability will be determined after CHS student registration) will be Friday, June 1st from 8:00-11:00AM in the Collierville Middle School Library.

Lindsay Michaud Earns Honorable Mention in NY Times Essay Competition

Congratulations to Lindsay Michaud for becoming a honorable-mention essayist in the NY Times Student Editorial Contest for her essay, “Orca Entertainment Is Intolerable”. A record 9,275 essays were received from students around the world this year's competition. There were 10 winners, 26 runners-up and 38 honorable mentions so finishing in the top 74 is an amazing accomplishment. Great job Lindsay.

CHS Wins 6 Awards at the Annual High School Musical Theatre Awards

Last night at the Orpheum Theatre the Draco Playhouse production of Catch Me If You Can won 6 awards at the annual High School Musical Theatre Awards!!! That was the most awarded to any school this year. There were 29 schools from 3 states competing this year.
Awards were:
Outstanding Overall Production
Outstanding Dance Execution
Outstanding Set
Outstanding Student Orchestra
Outstanding Technical Achievement
Student Technical Achievement – Andrew Boone
CHS is now the only school that has won the Overall Production award multiple times.
Congrats to all of the cast, crew, and orchestra for all of their hard work that they put into this production.
