Science National Honor Society Application

Juniors and Seniors can now apply for Science National Honor Society!
To be accepted, you:
-Must be a Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an upper-level science course
-Must have taken at least 3 honors or AP science courses (this can include this year’s science courses)
-Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 (unweighted)
-Must have an overall Science Course GPA of 3.5 (unweighted)
Your application is due by October 12.

Track and Field Parent Meeting October 3rd

A track and field parent meeting will be held October 3, at 6:30pm in the community room. Athletes participating in XC, basketball, or wrestling aren’t expected to be there, but anyone else interested in running this year should be. Please contact Coach Sikes if you have any questions.

CHS Teachers and Staff Raised $2,430 for the St Jude Walk/Run

CHS teachers and faculty raised $2, 430.00 for St Jude!!!! This was the first time doing this event and everyone had a great time. Special thanks to Angela Amido, Megan Brice, Jani Smith, Cedric Stevenson, Karen Stonebrook, Shannon Colwick, Justin Ingram, Melanie Leet, Beth Lenderman, Tiffiany Parie, Sharron Taylor, and Vicki Hendricks for making this event such a success!! CHS Seal of Biliteracy & Bilingual Program

The 2017-18 graduating class was our first group of students to be recognized under the CHS Seal of Biliteracy & CHS Bilingual Seal. The program recently adopted by the state of Tennessee recognizes the value of speaking more than one language, promotes language proficiency, and delivers new economic opportunities to our students as they transition into college and the work force.
