Business Communications is a course designed to develop students’ effective oral and electronic business communications skills. This course develops skills in multiple methods of communications, including social media, as well as electronic publishing, design, layout, composition, and video conferencing. Proficient students will be able to demonstrate successful styles and methods for professional business communications. Credits:  1.0 (Grade Level:  9-10 / Prerequisite:  None)

Introduction to Business SDC focuses on workforce and ethics, understanding and managing financial resources, creating demand and competing in the marketplace, building and delivering products and services, and working in business. Credits:  1.0 (Grade Level:  11-12 / Prerequisite:  Business Communications; English I and English II)

Special Note:  Students are eligible for college credit based on their score on the SDC challenge exam. Students who meet or exceed the exam cut score will receive credit for BUSN 1305 that can be applied at any Tennessee public postsecondary institution.

Virtual Enterprise International Honors is a capstone business course where students develop essential leadership, professional, functional, and core technology skills through hands-on, immersive work-based learning experiences. Students work individually, in departments, and as a firm to develop, refine, and implement a business plan. Credits:  1.0 (Grade Level:  11-12 / Prerequisite:  Introduction to Business SDC)
