Larissa McCoy Named Assistant Principal at Collierville High School

Collierville High School and principal Roger Jones is excited to announce that Mrs. Larissa McCoy has been named the new Assistant Principal at Collierville High School.
”Mrs. McCoy has been a valued member of our math department, and we are proud to see her rise from the classroom to this new leadership role,” said Jones. “Her dedication to students, instructional excellence, and commitment to our school community make her an outstanding addition to our administrative team.”
Mrs. McCoy, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, began her teaching career at Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, before relocating to Memphis in 2011. Since then, she has taught at Bon Lin Middle School and, since 2012, at Collierville High School. At CHS, she has taught a variety of Mathematics courses and has served as both Department Chair and Instructional Coach.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bellarmine University. She earned a Master’s in Education from Spalding University and later completed an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She and her husband, Matthew, have been married for 14 years.
