Scholarships

Finding and applying for scholarships is hard work but well worth the effort! There are several search engines listed below as well as a list of categorized scholarships in the side bar. Be sure to look at the freshman scholarships on your colleges' websites as well! You will be considered for some automatically but others may require a separate application.

Be sure to check your universities' scholarship pages for freshmen and departmental scholarships. You can also utilize scholarship search engines like fastweb and salliemae.

 

Lottery Scholarships & Grants

To qualify for TN Lottery Scholarships, students must take the ACT, complete their FAFSA and meet qualifying criteria. The scholarships as well as the receiving colleges are listed on the TSAC website.


TN Promise Scholarship 

The TN Promise Scholarship ensures students two years of tuition free education at a community college or technical school. Please check their website for a list of schools accepting the TN Promise. To qualify for the TN Promise Scholarship, students must apply by the deadline and complete all criteria on the student checklist by the listed deadlines.
