The mission of the CHS Science Department is to provide students with an appreciation for the inner workings of nature, develop the skills necessary to compete in an increasingly competitive world and instill a passion for life-long learning. Students are introduced to best practices of scientific investigation as well as core ideas and cross-cutting concepts across a broad range of physical, life and earth sciences. Through a wide variety of inquiry activities, projects and laboratory experiences, students gain the critical thinking and communication skills necessary to achieve college and career success.
