CHSl Students Achieve National Recognition at FBLA National Leadership Conference

For the second year in a row, the CHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter has earned a top honor at the FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC), held in Anaheim, California from June 29 to July 2.
Among more than 4,000 student leaders, educators, and volunteers from across the country, the CHS FBLA Public Service Announcement team—Jeshwant Vana, Nikith Baswa, and Aniket Seetharaman—rose to the challenge and proudly placed 8th in the nation. Their accomplishment puts Collierville on the national stage and marks another year of success for our growing program.
This year’s FBLA journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Highlights include:
- Being named Chapter of the Month in August 2024
- Winning Tennessee Chapter of the Year at the State Leadership Conference
- Earning the prestigious Gold Seal Chapter designation at NLC
Over 90 CHS students participated at the state level, and more than 60 qualified for nationals. With the incredible support of the Collierville community, 46 students traveled to Anaheim to sharpen their business skills and compete among the best from across the country and the world.
This is only our second year competing at NLC—and the second year we've earned a spot on the awards stage. Our success is a testament to the talent, dedication, and leadership potential of our students.
We are especially grateful for the leadership and mentorship of our FBLA advisers: Amber Stokes, Sherzard McEwen-Ashford, Orentheus Taylor, and Karen Cichocki. Their commitment to excellence continues to inspire the next generation of business leaders. Congratulations to all!
