Collierville High School is proud to announce that 11 of our students have been named National Merit Scholarship Finalists for 2026. As of late February 2026, over 15,000 high school students have been announced as finalists in the 71^st annual National Merit Scholarship program. These students represent the top academic performers in the country (the top <1%) and will be competing for roughly 7,250 scholarships nationwide to be awarded this spring. To become a Finalist, students must have an outstanding academic record, be endorsed by a high school official, submit an essay, and confirm their PSAT scores with a qualifying SAT or ACT score. Collierville’s finalists are (in alphabetical order): Arjun Aitipamula, Sai Koushik Balusulapalem, Bethany Chao, Keira Crasta, Benjamin Derieg, Shivika Kochher, Rehan Krishnan, William Reynolds, Aatish Satheesh, Aniket Seetharaman, and Sumin Yoon.
