CHS Nursery and Landscape Team Wins State Championship

Collierville High School is happy to announce our Nursery & Landscape team earned the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP and we couldn’t be more proud of the hard work, knowledge, and skill they demonstrated throughout the competition.
This competition challenged students in multiple areas, including plant identification, a comprehensive knowledge exam, interpreting landscape designs, repotting cuttings, and installing a flower bed based on a plan. Our team truly showcased their ability to excel across all aspects of the event.
A special congratulations goes to August Lambert for placing 1st overall and Elyse Poloni for earning 2nd place—after successfully identifying an impressive 50 plants!
We are thrilled to announce that they will advance to represent us at the National Contest in Indianapolis this October.
